(HCR 36 - title change resolution) Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that Representative Holm be excused from a call of the House today to 10:00 a.m., plane time, May 10, 2004. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Kerttula moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSB 30(JUD) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Kerttula: 2004-05-08 House Journal Page 4007 Page 1, following line 5: Delete all material. Insert a new bill section to read: "*Section 1. AS 18.05.032 is amended by adding a new section to read: Section 18.05.032. Information relating to pregnancy and pregnancy alternatives. Before providing abortion services, a physician shall ensure that the patient was provided the information required under AS 09.55.556." Representative Kerttula moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Coghill objected. Representative Lynn moved and asked unanimous consent that he be allowed to abstain from voting on the bill because of a conflict of interest.
